After quite a bit of planning and a few near misses, the stars finally aligned and I was able to catch up with this loving foursome and I could not have felt more blessed.
Firstly the littlest two of the bunch claimed me as their own and I’m pretty sure they didn’t draw breath the whole time I was there. However, most importantly I was able to bare witness to the adoration that Mum and Dad felt for their wondrous little creations, their eyes could not hide it as they watched them play and chatter the afternoon away.
After spending the whole day at inter school sports in Georgetown with my two tiny terrors, I passed their over-tired little bodies over to their father (phew) and went and hung out with two that were full of cheek, play and wonder. We were lucky enough that they had a lot next door which held only a stable so there was plenty of room to run and play, it was also fortunate that the sun set in just the right spot and gave me the magical light I am always chasing.
Most often the things you have to wait the longest for are most worth it, this was one of those times. Thank you to the Bulter family for inviting me to spend some time in your world - and what a wonderful little world you have.
