Elie + Diego || An Intimate Brunswick Heads Couple
Last year I was fortunate enough to travel to the Byron Bay region and mentor with the incrediable Lauren from Love Her Wild. The experience was nothing short of altering on both a personal and professional level. If you are a photographer and looking for some guidence I can recommend this lady - 100%!
One of the highlights from that trip was this photo session. It was here I got to meet this amazing couple and create some of my most favourited images. The chemisty that these two radiated was powerful and translated perfectly in to photographs. Can you believe that they are parents and have been married for quite some time.
Diego is a muscian and we were honoured to be witness to his musical prowess and even though he was really serenading Elie we were just glad to be there. At the end of our session, which I was really sad to see end, Diego commented how he’s never had so much fun in the kitchen and how this was the most intimate, alone time they’d had together in ages - I’m sure all parents can relate to that!
I believe that there is this misconception about couples photography, that it is for the newly engaged or expectant parents but what is important to remember is that your love story is important at any stage. If you are a parent, been together for forever or even just dating, it’s all beautiful, important and worth capturing. If nothing else, it will give you a chance to spend some cozy time together.
