I am fortunate enough that I get invited to enjoy many moments, milestones and ordinary (but no less special) days with my families. I get to experience different family dynamics, love and personalities. At the end of all my sessions I am told 'thank you' but what no one really understands is just how much I gain from each session.

Read MoreI was recently asked to photograph this wonderful family who had travelled to celebrate not only an engagement but also the christening of their newest family member. There were nine kids only and despite the distance that is between many of them I could not help but notice the similarities between each family unit (and not just the physical ones). It stirred nostalgic emotions in me as I remembered my own childhood and similar events.
