Celeste booked this session for her family earlier in the year after they had to leave their home because of the Townsville floods. She was unsure how long it would be before they would be able to move back in but she knew when they did that she would like to celebrate with an in-home session. I’m not sure about you but I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate.
Before arriving at the Railway Estate Queenslander I was told about how both kids took a while to warm to new people and as kids usually like to prove their parents wrong, they took about 1/2 a second before we hit it off. What adorable little people they are with such big and endearing personalities. Both equally infatuated with the other and going to leave a beautiful mark on this world. Mum, Celeste and Dad, Matt are in awe of the gorgeous family they have created and are enjoying getting to know their babies a little more each day.
I find I have really hard time convincing people to book an in-home session, they constantly worry that their house is not photogenic enough and I really want to call bullshit on that. I understand that Celeste and Matt’s home is a really poor example of this because it’s gorgeous but there have been homes that haven’t been as stunning and yet the photos were (mine for example). This is because in-home sessions are really ever about the home, they are about the people in it. Don’t ever question whether your house is worthy enough because as long as you’re there that’s good enough for me.

Thank you for inviting me into your home. I can only imagine what a trying time you would have had over the last few months, feeling constantly displaced as you moved from rental to rental. it must be a complete joy to return to normalcy and be back in your own space. Your family is utter perfection. Your kids with their gorgeous big eyes, beautiful souls and warming hearts are a credit to you both and a pleasure to spend time with. Much love to you all.
