2019 || A Year that Was...
If I’m being truthful 2019 was a whirlwind it blew through, shaking things up, leaving behind some debris and changing the way we look at things. But please don’t for a moment think that I mean that in a negative way, it’s just that I am only now catching my breath and beginning to appreciate all that it gifted me.
I’ve been quite for the last few months because I needed that time for myself, for my family, for the life we are building and because of all that has been happening through out the year. Now that January is over I feel like 2020 can really begin, that I can sink my teeth back in and no longer can I have a drink at 2pm and claim “it’s the festive season”. So even though I technically missed the start of the new calendar year and every has moved into the new, I would love to recap with my favourite images from the previous 12 months.
The people that I met at sessions and weddings enriched my life in so many ways and I truly look back at the photos I took, the moments I captured and feel all the emotions. I’ve thanked them a million times over because I don’t feel my words can really convey how these brief interactions mean to me.
