Never for a moment did it cross my mind that rain might be an issue in October, in Charters Towers, and yet here we were on the day of this long await shoot … overcast. Luckily it was all a threat and it ended up giving us an utterly gorgeous sunset and spectacular skies.
Read MoreThis morning was an early start, the session was at 6:3am, it was Father’s Day, my daughter’s birthday and it was just the time that worked best for us, and I’m so glad we did it this way. Hamish was fresh, happy and full of cheek, his parent’s probably would have liked more sleep but that’s just parent life 🙄 and the light, oh the light was just glorious. I could babble on for days about all the reasons why I love these photos but just keep scrolling and see for yourself, after all I’m a photographer not an author.
Read MoreMost often the things you have to wait the longest for are most worth it, this was one of those times. Thank you to the Bulter family for inviting me to spend some time in your world - and what a wonderful little world you have.
Read MoreThis is one lucky boy, with two Mummas that are perfectly infatuated with him and not at all stressed by life with a newborn. I was truely in awe of the love that surrounded this new family and I am immensely grateful that I was able to witness this.
Baby Gus, thank you for having me in your home, I can’t wait to watch you grow.
Read MoreI am always honoured to be invited into a family’s space but after hearing about the strength and love of Hayley’s family, I felt incredibly touched. But let’s be real here and let me tell you that this session was not without it’s dramas.

Read MoreI believe that there is this misconception about couples photography, that it is for the newly engaged or expectant parents but what is important to remember is that your love story is important at any stage. If you are a parent, been together for forever or even just dating, it’s all beautiful, important and worth capturing. If nothing else, it will give you a chance to spend some cozy time together.
Read MoreI am honestly trying to find the right words to describe this session but I just find myself scrolling back and forth and the beauty of these moments give me goosebumps. So with feelings like these, you don’t really need words from me.
Read MoreI was lucky enough to find Mia + Steve, in Townsville, after they responded to a model call I put out. They were exactly what I was looking for to create the vision I had, this session is that vision come to life.
Right from the start I fell in love with this quaint West End home, the snug rooms, warmed by the wooden floors, the neutral panelled walls and the windows which illuminated it all just perfectly.
